I am a versatile and highly motivated graphic designer, with a wealth of experience. I have previously held Creative Director positions, owned a design business for 10+ years, and more recently, undertaken a lead designer role at Howden, one of the largest insurance groups in the world.
My ethos is to create innovative and beautifully crafted and robust design solutions, that bring purpose, clarity and above all, commercial impact.
I have extensive experience with both corporate and independent clients across diverse industry sectors, and pride myself in developing meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and business owners alike.
I have a proven ability to manage teams and I am passionate about mentoring and nurturing young design talent.
I am a hands on individual with a keen eye for detail, constantly striving to deliver excellence whilst pushing design boundaries to the max.
I have received recent acclaim for my work on the 2022/23 Howden Men's European Football Injury Index, which won Best Data Story or Data Visualisation in the 2024 Data IQ Awards.
When I’m not in front of the laptop, design team or boardroom, you’ll most likely find me walking Ginge (my border/pug cross), in the gym, or struggling for breath on the football pitch.
My philosophy

Pore over the details. Test it, and test it again. Check it, and check it again. Craft it, and craft it some more. Because ‘that will do’ will never do.
